Bold Black Chai Tea

Patterned after traditional masala chai, this tea has a base of strong black Biodynamic® Assam leaves infused with warming spices: organic cinnamon, ginger, cardamom, clove and a hint of black pepper. This bold black chai is meant to be taken with milk for a hearty, satisfying cup that will wake you up in the morning and revive you in the afternoon.

The tea leaves in this blend are harvested from a Certified Elephant Friendly™ tea garden committed to the protection of Asian elephants and their habitats. The tea growers allow elephants to travel through their tea gardens without getting harmed by electric fences, power lines, ditches or human conflict. This premium tea supports the coexistence of agriculture and wildlife and helps reduce the decline of the Asian elephant species.

Black tea has less than half the amount of caffeine per cup than in a similar-sized cup of coffee. 

Steeping black tea is easy. Simply heat fresh, filtered water to a rolling boil. Then pour 6 oz water over tea and steep for 3-5 minutes.
